It runs on your Claude — not our bill.
The assistant drives the real editor through one validated command surface. Ask it to cull a shoot, warm the shadows on every frame from golden hour, or geotag a trip. It uses your own Claude Pro or Max subscription — so there's no per-edit fee, and no key to hand over.

Your photos never leave your Mac.
Most editors that added AI also added a pipe to someone's cloud. raaaw didn't. The one time anything is sent anywhere is when you use the assistant — and then it goes to Anthropic under your own account, never through us.
No telemetry
We run no server and receive no copy of your images. There is nothing to opt out of.
Least privilege
Access to your Photos library and files you pick — nothing else. No Documents, Desktop, or Downloads.
You hold the keys
The assistant uses your Claude account directly. Your prompts and your account are yours.
Non-destructive
Originals are never overwritten. Every edit is recoverable in Photos itself.
